Staying healthy through forgiveness

Bitterness, strife, and confusion all work together. strife breeds confusion; confusion breeds bitterness. Bitterness can hinder your prayer life. It can defile you. (Heb. 12:15). Bitterness is contagious. Esau became bitter when his brother, Jacob, stole his blessing (Gen. 27). His bitterness caused a family curse on his future generations. Unforgiveness causes bitterness. It will affect your thinking, strength, anointing, health, and the direction of your life. It creates a chemical imbalance and disease in your bones.(Prov. 15:30;17:22). When you harbor unforgiveness in your heart, you give place to the devil to wreak havoc in your life by causing you to focus on the person who committed the offense. Forgiveness causes you to focus on Jesus and releases you and the person who has offended you. It frees God to bring about a change in both of you. There are four steps to forgiving: 1. Understand the devil is responsible for the offense. 2. Separate the person from the sin. 3. Make the decision to forgive whoever has offended you 4. Bless those who have offended you according to Luke 6:27,28. Remember, "a merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones". Prov. 17:22

Swine Flu Scare

There was a real swine flu scare while we were in the Ukraine. Before we left, we were told that the church in Chekesy, where we were to have a healing service had been closed down for two weeks due to the swine flu and we prayed against this. People even suggested we shouldn't go due to the swine flu but they've come to tell us too late. When you know the truth of God's Word and that you are being sent on a mission then you are under His protection or as I call it "GodCare." When we arrived in the Ukraine, all the government officials checking us in were wearing masks. Everywhere we went in stores or restaurants the employees were wearing masks. When we arrived at the pastors home in Chesasky, he offered everyone there a mask to wear but little did he know that my message that night was all about God's Health Care Plan and Divine Protection against all sickness and disease even the swine flu. The church had been reopened with the agreement that masks would be available to all who enter the building. The message was exactly what God ordered. We don't need to walk in fear of sickness or disease because the word promises health, healing and a long life. If we will dwell in the secret place and abide under God's shadow, Psalms 91 says no plague will come near our dwelling or our body. Many were healed of back and knee problems that evening. One man had not moved his back freely for years was moving in every direction. Another lady, who could not bend her knees was bending up and down. The healing power of God's word had been released a week ago as doctors from around the world had a convention in Kiev to share testimonies of God's miraculous healing power in their practices. That healing presence was continuing to be released that night in Chesasky as many received a fuller revelation about God's Divine Health Care Plan.

God's Protection in the Miracle Van

Thank God for His Protection. We had a powerful healing service in Cheskasy, where Gwen ministered on "The GodCare Plan/His Healing and Protection" and many were healed and touched by the Holy Spirit. On way to Cheskasy earlier that evening, we had to stop several times to check the brakes of the van but pastor Nicolai assured us that we would make it back fine, especially since there weren't alot of stop lights along the way. It was around midnight when we began our journey back to Borispol and it was so foggy that you could hardly see anything is front of the van. We prayed protection over Pastor Nicolai and our trip back. Lou had joked to me earlier that it's not the air flights that we need to pray about on our trip as much as our automobile travel but we trust and believe God's word that He gives His angels charge over us to keep us in all His ways. Then suddenly in the middle of nowhere, there was a strange turn in the road like a rotary which Pastor Nicolai didn't see. We went off into the grass and the van swerved hard to the right and then to the left and I thought in my mind that this van is going to flip over and we were going relatively fast. I yelled out "Jesus, Jesus... Psalm 91...." and suddenly the van came to a stop. It's one of those times that you had to be there to know how serious it was. As we regrouped and got our barrings back, we started once again and the fog was still there and even worse. This time we prayed for the fog to disappear and within minutes it was gone. We all just began to thank the Lord for His faithfulness, who answers prayers and protects us!

Miracles in Ukraine

We thank the Lord for our ministry time in the Ukraine. We ministered in Home Church Meetings, to Soshnikov Leaders Meeting, Healing and night service, Cherkasy Healing Service (many healed in backs and knees) and the ten hour 13th Annual Soshikov Anniversary Service. Many were touched and ministered to. Here is a recent email from Pastor Nicolai the pastor of the Soshnikov Church.

Dear Pastors Lou and Gwen!

Greetings to you from Ukraine !

I use this ability to talk to you now because Taya and Jenya go to Bulgaria and for a month I will not have this ability. So first of all I’d like to give glory to the Lordfor all miracles, healing and God’s love that the Lord showed during your visit. We still continue to hear new testimonies of what have happened on the service oh healing. This Sunday many people testified how God healed them through Gwen. If you remember Gwen, when you prayed over the blind boy and his mother Natasha – she testified that she was healed from antritis and from some tumor in her leg. And her son was listening your sermon and after the service he started to listen Christian music – before that he was listening only classical music. The other lady testified that her problem in the chest was gone. The other lady who came first time on your service came next Sunday and accepted the Lord. Many people talk a lot about the message of Pastor Lou, we had wonderful time. I’m so thankful to the Lord for you.

Ukraine Mission Trip 2009

Soshnovik, Ukraine Mission Church with New Roof: We just returned from the Ukraine and had a powerful trip. Two years ago, we took them a donation for the roof of their church and now it is completed. The next phase is plumbing, electric, heating and windows. We are believing God for all the resources to help them complete their miracle church soon.
